چکیده
Photometric observations of the double-mode pulsator VX Hya are presented. They analyzed with a stroboscopic method, completed by Fourier analysis.

Multiwavelength Analysis of Gl 355 (lq Hya)
We discuss ROSAT, ASCA, BeppoSAX and optical observations of the young active star Gl 355. During the ROSAT observation a strong flare was detected with a peak flux more than an order of magnitude larger than the quiescent level. Spectral analysis of the data allows us to study the temperature and emission measure distribution, and the coronal metal abundance, for the quiescent phase and, in th...
متن کاملAlgorithms for Network Time Keeping
This work describes and evaluates three algorithms for end-to-end time synchronization between a client computer and a server of “true” time (e.g. a GPS source) using messages transmitted over packet switched networks, such as the Internet. The messages exchanged have the NTP format and the algorithms compared, are performed only at the client side. They are based on adaptive (Kalman) filtering...
متن کاملReal Time Video Analysis using Smart Phone Camera for Stroboscopic Image
Motion capturing and there by segmentation of the motion of any moving object from a sequence of continuous images or a video is not an exceptional task in computer vision area. Smart-phone camera application is an added integration for the development of such tasks and it also provides for a smooth testing. A new approach has been proposed for segmenting out the foreground moving object from t...
متن کاملKeeping Time without a Clock
The accepted dogma in circadian biology is that the transcription factor CLOCK lies at the heart of the molecular clock that drives behavioral and molecular rhythms. In this issue of Neuron, the generation of CLOCK-deficient mice with only subtle clock defects by DeBruyne et al. shakes up this view of the mammalian clock.
متن کاملStroboscopic fluorescence lifetime imaging.
We report a fluorescence lifetime imaging technique that uses the time integrated response to a periodic optical excitation, eliminating the need for time resolution in detection. A Dirac pulse train of variable period is used to probe the frequency response of the total fluorescence per pulse leading to a frequency roll-off that is dependent on the relaxation rate of the fluorophores. The tech...
